I hired Emma to capture a surprise proposal to my girlfriend (now fiancé) while in Mallorca. Emma was the first professional photographer I had ever hired or worked with, so I was admittedly a bit nervous about the whole process. However, upon my first contact with her via email, I could tell I had made the right choice. It was immediately apparent that Emma is a true professional, and cares deeply about her business and her clients.

In the months leading up to the proposal, Emma worked closely with me to come up with the perfect setting and plan for pulling off the big surprise. She always responded to my questions and concerns promptly, and was helpful with putting my worries to rest!

On the day of the proposal, the weather was adding some unneeded stress with intermittent thunderstorms forecasted into the evening, when we had planned to do a sunset shoot. However, once again, Emma’s professionalism and character shined through, as she texted with me throughout the day in case we needed to adjust the time to catch a break in the storms. She even arrived a full hour ahead of schedule just to ensure that we would find a window of time to do the proposal.

As for the proposal itself, Emma perfectly executed the plan we had collaborated on, and my now-fiancé and I could not be happier with the outcome and the photos! The photos are absolutely stunning, and we have received so many compliments and expressions of awe from friends and family with whom we’ve shared them. I keep catching my fiancé scrolling through the photos with a huge smile on her face.

Lastly, as I mentioned before, this was my first time working with a professional photographer. I definitely don’t feel natural being photographed, and wasn’t sure what to expect, but Emma made the entire shoot fun and easy. I felt relaxed the entire time, and she helped us with every detail so that the photos would come out perfectly.

Emma, thank you so much for all that you did for us! It was such a pleasure working with you, and I hope our paths cross again someday in the future!
